We pair the Montessori method with hands-on, activity-based learning — so children don't just memorise, they explore, build, question and discover. Small classes mean every child is known, seen and celebrated.

Founder & Principal
Smile & Shine was born from a simple belief that took shape over 25 years in classrooms and corridors: children don't need to be pushed to learn — they need a safe, joyful place to be curious, and grown-ups who truly see them.
Our founder spent more than two decades shaping young learners, including several years as Principal of Mount Litera Zee School, before deciding the earliest years deserved her full heart. With postgraduate degrees in Education, Science and Arts (M.Ed., M.Sc., M.A.), she blends academic rigour with the warmth of a teacher who still remembers every child's name.
Today she leads Smile & Shine hands-on — mentoring teachers, greeting families at the gate, and making sure every little one leaves a little braver than they arrived.
